Clear out what a glass wash leaves behind.
Removing accumulated debris improves the appearance of an opening and keeps dirt from being left beside clean glass. Detailing is useful where windows are often opened or buildup has been overlooked.
What’s included
- Deep tracks: remove loose material, loosen normal buildup, and wipe accessible channels.
- Sill option: detail the accessible bottom sill and interior ledge on selected sides.
- Only the locations and tasks agreed in your quote.
What to expect
- 01
We check that the window opens safely and identify sensitive seals.
- 02
We work in accessible channels and on selected ledges with controlled moisture.
- 03
We explain heavy staining, damage, or inaccessible debris.
How to prepare
A little preparation helps us reach the agreed areas and spend the visit on the work you requested.
- Clear ledges and leave room to open the window.
- Tell us about sticking sashes, broken balances, leaks, or loose seals.
- Mention years of buildup or renovation dust so we can assess the condition.
You do not need to climb, lift heavy furniture, or carry out repairs to prepare. Tell us about access difficulties when you request the quote.
Pricing & scope
Normal deep tracks: $8 per window. Sill/ledge detailing: $3 per window on selected sides. Severe buildup needs review; $150 visit minimum.
What needs a separate discussion
Deep tracks and sills are separate from each other and from glass. Fixed windows may have no operating track. Heavy deposits, hidden drainage, mold treatment, and repairs need assessment.
After the visit
Let damp surfaces dry. Persistent operating or drainage problems need their underlying cause checked.
Questions about this service
Is a quick wipe the same as deep track cleaning?
No. Deep track work includes accessible debris removal and agitation of buildup, and is separately priced.
Will cleaning fix a sticking window?
It may remove grit but is not a balance, roller, seal, or frame repair service.
