See past the seasonal buildup.
Exterior cleaning removes surface dirt that makes a clear view look dull. It is a practical choice when the indoor glass is already clean or seasonal pollen has settled on your home.
What’s included
- Exterior glass on the units listed in your quote.
- Finishing around the glass edges, with accessible screen removal/refitting when needed for access.
- Selected detailing extras only when separately included in the approved scope.
What to expect
- 01
We confirm window types, condition, access, and fragile screens.
- 02
We loosen normal surface soil and rinse or finish using the agreed method. Pure-water glass is left to dry.
- 03
We check accessible viewpoints and discuss marks needing another treatment.
How to prepare
A little preparation helps us reach the agreed areas and spend the visit on the work you requested.
- Close and latch the windows.
- Clear lightweight items from access routes and secure pets.
- Tell us about leaks, loose seals, damaged screens, or delicate landscaping. Leave high screens and ladder work to us.
You do not need to climb, lift heavy furniture, or carry out repairs to prepare. Tell us about access difficulties when you request the quote.
Pricing & scope
Standard accessible exterior glass: $10 per window. $150 minimum per visit. Specialty glass and detailing require review.
What needs a separate discussion
Sash, frames, sills, tracks, trim, and screen washing are separate choices. Mineral deposits, paint, construction residue, storms, and unusual access need review. Washing cannot remove fog trapped inside a failed sealed-glass unit.
After the visit
Allow rinsed glass to dry before judging the finish. If a mark remains, tell us the window location so we can review it.
Questions about this service
Do you need to enter my home?
Usually not for exterior-only work, but certain screens or window designs may require inside access. We agree on that first.
Are double-pane layers charged separately?
No. Sealed insulating layers are not separate surfaces we can reach. We price the window type and accessible cleaning sides.
